Redeeming a Gift Card

Sorry to hear that! Please try these quick fixes,

Make sure that you remove any spaces from the gift code when you copy it over or type it into the merchant's checkout page.

If you continue to experience any technical issues on the merchant’s web checkout page and notice that you’ve received an invalid code, you would have to directly contact the merchant. They know what to do and how to help you out!

If the QR Code won't scan, ask the cashier to type in the Gift Card code manually by hand.

Don’t worry, we’ve got you! Please reach out to support@getgifted.com with a screenshot/photo of the Gift Card you received and they will help you out.

We’re sorry, once the code has been exposed to you from the Gift Card, we cannot offer a refund. However, the terms & conditions of using the code is solely governed by the merchant. Please always refer to the merchant’s terms and conditions of using a Gift Card before checking out your purchase.

If you haven’t open the Gift Card to receive the code, please reach out to support@getgifted.com and they will process the refund for you.

So sorry to hear about this. Once you’ve used your code at the merchant to purchase an item, all refunds for redeems codes are handled by the merchant. Please reach out to their support with your gift code and check the balance

For certain Gift Card brands, you can choose to redeem either a portion or the full amount. Any unused balance will be retained on the card until it's completely used, as long as the card remains valid.

This happens when your phone setting region is different from the country you’re residing in. Please check the device region setting, App store/PlayStore region setting & your SIM region as well. Once done, clear the cache on the Gifted app and try again.
 
SIM Region - If your device is a dual SIM holder, please change the "Primary SIM" to the country you're residing in.  
 
How do I change the iOS Device Region Setting? 
  1. Click on Settings
  2. Select General 
  3. Select Language & Region
  4. Select Region
  5. Search the region you're residing in on the Search Bar and click on the country 
  6. Select Okay / Confirm

How do I change the Android PlayStore Region Setting? 

  1. Select PlayStore
  2. Select your profile picture on top-right hand corner
  3. Select Settings
  4. Select General
  5. Select Account and Device Preference
  6. Select Country and Profiles
  7. Select the country and click Okay / Confirm
