All Gift Cards can be refunded in full up to 14 days from the date of receiving the Gift Card. However, if the gift code has been revealed in the Gifted app or via the web, the validity of the code can no longer be ensured, and the refund cannot be processed.
By revealing the code, you agree to receive the digital content immediately and acknowledge that your right to withdrawal is waived at that point.
What Does “Revealed” Mean?
Purchases from Gifted are governed under Swedish law, specifically the Act (2005:59) on distance contracts and contracts outside business premises (commonly known as “Distansköpslagen”).
According to this law, consumers have a 14-day full refund right for any Gift Card purchased from Gifted, provided the code has not yet been revealed. This is outlined in section 11 “Exemption from the right of withdrawal”, paragraph 11 – covering digital content not delivered on a physical medium when the consumer has consented to immediate delivery and agreed to waive the withdrawal right.
