If your organization has distributed Gifted gift cards and a recipient has used part of their balance, here’s how they—or you on their behalf—can check the remaining amount.
How Gifted Balances Work
Once a recipient reveals their gift card and selects a brand, the full value is transferred to that specific brand’s gift card code. From that point forward, balance tracking is handled by the merchant, not the Gifted platform.
How to Check the Remaining Balance
Option 1: Recipient Checks with the Merchant

Online Tools: Most merchants provide a balance checker on their website where the code can be entered.

Customer Service: The recipient can contact the brand directly via phone, email, or chat to inquire about the remaining balance.
Option 2: Your Organization Contacts Support
If your team manages redemptions or needs to follow up on behalf of recipients, our support team can assist with balance checks if the merchant supports it.
Important: After the Code Is Revealed

The balance is no longer visible in the Gifted portal.

The merchant’s system becomes the source of truth for the remaining value.
